President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has nominated Augustine Ngafuan as Minister of Finance and Development Planning Designate .

Ngafuan’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.

Mr. Ngafuan served as former Finance Minister during the administration of Ex-President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

If confirmed by the Liberian Senate, he will replace Boimah Kamara who served as Finance Minister for few months and subsequently resigned his post.
