LDEA Dismisses Reports Targeting Deputy Director for Operations Col. Patrick Kormazu as False and Misleading

The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has dismissed recent media reports targeting its Deputy Director for Operations, Col. Patrick Kormazu, describing them as false and misleading.

Col. Kormazu, a seasoned security officer with more than 15 years of honorable service to the Republic of Liberia, has built a reputation for professionalism and integrity throughout his career. He has consistently demonstrated commitment to the fight against crime and has maintained a clean professional record.

During his tenure, Col. Kormazu played a pivotal role in combating criminal activities in Paynesville, where he worked to improve public safety and strengthen collaboration between security agencies and local communities.

His dedication later earned him an assignment in Margibi County, where he continued to support law enforcement operations and maintain order.

Security personnel in Margibi County hold him in high regard, praising his leadership, discipline, and extensive experience in security operations.

The LDEA emphasized that the circulating claims against Col. Kormazu do not reflect his years of loyal service and urged the public and media institutions to rely on verified information.

The agency cautioned against spreading unsubstantiated reports that could damage the reputation of individuals who have devoted their lives to serving the nation.
