In a vibrant and well-attended Saturday evening ceremony at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, the Indian Business Chamber, in collaboration with the Embassy of India, celebrated the annual ‘Spring Festival’ with grandeur and cultural flair.

This lively event marks the culmination of a yearly celebration that unites the Indian community to honor the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and northern India, filled with joy, dance, and tradition.
Known locally as Baisakhi, the Spring Festival is primarily celebrated in Punjab and other parts of North India. It signifies the start of the harvest season for Rabi (winter) crops and is traditionally observed in April, each year, embodying themes of renewal, gratitude, and community spirit.

The festivities featured traditional Indian dances, songs, and storytelling, highlighting the vibrant cultural textile of the region.
