Montserrado County District #17 Representative Elect, Bernard Blue Benson, alias DJ Blue, has vowed to fight for the entertainment industry in the 55th National Legislature. Bernard who is CEO of Hott FM and TV, said he has gone to a new dimension of leadership in Liberia, but assured that he will never leave the entertainment industry alone, adding that “let me send a message to my distinguished colleagues of the 55th legislature, that they can expect a passionate bill from me to empower the entertainment industry, because I believe it is a sweeping economic multiplier and our neighbors are presenting and germinating millionaires, and we are here doing nothing. So, the entertainment industry must be empowered, and with God all my strength, I will be your fighter.” Representative elect Benson assured members of the Entertainment industry when he received the “Outstanding Achievement Of The Year Award” of the Lonestar Cell MTN Liberian Music Awards held Saturday November 25, 2023.
DJ Blue is an icon of the entertainment industry of the country, who has over the years promoted several Libertarian artists, DJs and entertainers. 
He was elected in the just ended 2023 general and Presidential elections, to represent the peopled District #17, one on the most underdeveloped districts on the outs catch of the Capital.
