The ECOWAS T-SERR Internship Program has begun its third batch with five intern reporters hailing from Grand Cape Mount, Nimba, Maryland, Rivercess, and Rural Montserrado Counties.
Training Supervisor, Mr. Raymond Zarbay, emphasized the importance of the training program in building and strengthening the capacity of community radios and reporters.
With support from the Swedish government, the program aims to enhance the community radio sector.
The training will focus on radio broadcasting, including news production, news casting, script writing, and more.
Mr. Zarbay mentioned that the program will run for a month and urged the reporters to take an active interest in their professional development.
Expressing gratitude, the reporters praised ECOWAS Radio and its partners for the initiative to enhance the professional growth of journalists and community radios in Liberia.
They assured ECOWAS Radio of implementing the knowledge gained from the program.
