The father of an Illing child , Sando Kessellie Govego is a calling for an urgent medical assistance to help save the life of his illing Daughter.
Narrating his daughter’s skin disease situation, Mr. Govego stated that the family noticed the situation at the early age of ten years.
He explained that the health issue on his daughter all started as small bumps and later spread to some parts of her body and it makes her very uncomfortable.
According to him, they have done surgeries as previously recommended by doctors to ensure that the disease goes away but instead, it normally comes back and with force and real pains.
Doctors he stated also suggested injection which she takes in at times to ease the pain but that is not helping the process.
The skin disease very thick and black has now spread to Yassah’s jaw very close to her esophagus including her chest and is increasingly making life unbearable for the young lady.
Yassah Govego who is now nineteen years is also out of high school but her health condition is affecting her personal growth process.
According to the father of Yassah, Mr. Govego, he feels the pain his daughter goes through daily due to her skin disease and is appealing for urgent intervention in order to save the life of his daughter.
He said that the family have tried their best to help their child but is overwhelmed financially as such appeals for financial assistance.
Doctors he stated have recommended advance medical care in order to save the life of his illing Daughter.
Mr. Govego said the only solution for his child is foreign treatment which he believes will help his daughter.
Also speaking to our reporter was illing Yassah Govego who explained that she has been undergoing lots of pain which has caused her emotional and physical stress.
The pain she emphasized is too much and is getting from bad to worse as such appeals for urgent assistance.
At the same time, Mr.Govego used the ocassion to appealed to humanitarian organizations and institutions as well as individuals to help his family financially to take his daughter out of Liberia for advance treatment.
He fears but do not wish that if urgent assistance is not giving to his daughter, the situation which is worsening daily could lead to something sad, something he pray will not happen as he is optimistic that well meaning Liberians and foreign nationals will see the need to assist his kid and save her life.
Govego also pointed out that they are not really interested in the physical cash but if someone can shoulder the entire cost of everything and send them , they will be glad and appreciative.
