Tons of condolence messages continue to pull in following the demise of Nimba County former Senator Prince Johnson.
The latest is Dr. Michael P. Slawon, Former Director General of the National Commission on Higher Education.
In his message of condolence, Dr. Slawon described the fallen political godfather of Nimba County as a steadfast servant of Liberia.
“On behalf of myself and my family, I extend my deepest sympathies to you during this time of great sorrow as we mourn the passing of the Honorable Prince Yormie Johnson, a distinguished son of Nimba County and a steadfast servant of Liberia”, he emphasized.
According to the former Director General of the National Commission on Higher Education, Senator Johnson’s enduring legacy as a leader, advocate, and champion of his people will remain etched in the history of Liberia.
Dr. Slawon further pointed out that the late Senator Johnson’s unwavering commitment to addressing the challenges faced by the people of Nimba County and his passion for fostering unity and development were evident throughout his years of service.
“As a fellow native of Nimba County, I share in your grief and loss”, he added.
Dr. Slawon also stated that Senator Johnson’s contributions to Liberia’s political and social fabric will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude, emphasizing that his tireless efforts to improve the lives of those he served have left an indelible mark on the hearts of Nimbians and Liberians including its communities.
“During this time of mourning, I pray that the Almighty God grants you strength, comfort, and peace. May you find solace in the legacy of leadership and compassion that he leaves behind, and may his memory inspire future generations to serve with the same dedication and vision, Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and May Senator Prince Yormie Johnson rest in eternal peace”, he ended.
