Monrovia, Liberia – Legacy Communications Incorporated, the Mother company of KMTV Liberia, on June 11, 2025, entered a mutual partnership with the Embassy of India in Monrovia.
The diplomatic-media collaboration will potentially leverage exclusive media services, exchange programs, cultural programming, capacity building, as well as help to strengthen the bilateral ties between Liberia and India.
Described as a new era of media diplomacy in the Country, the strategic alliance between the two institutions will pave the way for joint media productions, including documentaries, news coverage, and events that highlight the shared values and aspirations of the two nations.

It also aims to disseminate information about Indian culture, development initiatives, and the broader India-Liberia friendship to a wider Liberian audience.
The KMTV-India relationship comes at a time of increasing engagement between India and Liberia.
Indian Ambassador accredited to Liberia, Manoj Bihari Verma, interprets the media partnership as a crucial element in fostering greater understanding of the Indian community.
Following the close of the meeting, the Indian Embassy posted on its official Facebook handle these wordings, “Pleasure to welcome the KMTV Liberia team to the Embassy. We explored potential opportunities for collaboration between the Embassy and KMTV”.
As Liberia’s partner, India has supported Liberia in areas such as capacity building, education, health, and exchange programs.
In remarks, KMTV Chief Executive Officer, Randall P. Jackson, expressed anticipation that his institution and the embassy will have a fruitful media-diplomacy collaboration that will help tell the stories about the growing India-Liberia relationship.
