Monrovia, Liberia: President Joseph Nyumah Boakai has highlighted service to Country as a national responsibility for both Liberians living in and out of the Country.
The Liberian leader noted, moving the Country in a proper developmental trajector and self sufficiency, it recquires collective and deliberate efforts.
President Boakai was making remarks at a brief ceremony marking the handover of vital agricultural equipment and sanitation vehicles to the JNB Foundation by Robustrade Inc at the foundation’s headquarters in Rehab on 26 November, 2024.
The group donated ten (10) cargo sanitation tricycles, soil plying equipment and two modern tractors to empower JNB Foundation in her national agricultural and sanitation programs.
President Boakai used the occasion to extend his heartfelt gratitude to the Dubai-based group for recoginizing the need to donate to the government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda which highlights Agriculture as a key driver of the Liberian Economy and food security.
Rev. David Fartoma added, the tractors will be involved with community projects particularly in the area of marchandize farming.
For his part, the Executive Director of the foundation, Jackson George explined, the materials will be used particularly to help improve the farming capacity of local producers.
“Our goal is to help our farmers because most of them cannot afford to have these kinds of machines”, George remarked.
He told journalists, they will partner with local organizations to implement some of the targets of the JNB Foundation.
