President Joseph Nyuma Boakai will on Thursday participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new US$ 1.4 billion Concentrator Plant.
The program is expected to be held at the Mt. Tokadeh Mining Site, Nimba County.
Among other things, The visit will include a guided tour of the facility.
It can be recalled that facility was originally initiated in 2012, but was paused during the 2014 Ebola crisis and resumed in 2021 with updated designs and technology.
Meanwhile, full operations are scheduled for this June 2025.
