YARD Liberia, in collaboration with Ducor Peace Club and MenEngage Liberia, successfully organized a transformative event aimed at nurturing leadership skills among the youth within religious and Islamic institutions.
The event, titled “Developing Leaders through Tech Training for Churches and Mosques Youth,” gathered over 40 enthusiastic participants eager to enhance their knowledge and skills.
The session provides an overview of the event, highlighting key activities, speakers, and outcomes respectively.
Among other things, The training session was designed to enlighten the youth on the Africa 2063 agenda, emphasizing the importance of utilizing technology for personal development.
Furthermore, participants were guided on leveraging the Internet for educational purposes, understanding social media dynamics, and the significance of meditation in fostering mental well-being.
Dennis Kromah and Habakkuk Parker spearheaded the training, shared their expertise and insights with the attendees.

The training session which was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Ducor Peace Club and the Siakeh Foundation was held at the Women’s Resource Center at the Harbel General Market, located in Lower Margibi.
