BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — Brooklyn Park Dance is inviting children, teenagers and adults to explore its dance programs during a full week of free “Try-It” classes from September 21 through September 27.

The free classes are available for participants ranging from preschool age to adulthood. Individuals may register for multiple sessions, allowing them to explore different classes before choosing the program that best fits their interests.
Brooklyn Park Dance says its programs are open to everyone, regardless of previous dance experience. Dancers are not required to audition for class placement and may enroll in any age-appropriate class, allowing friends to participate together while helping new dancers feel welcome.

The program also allows families to choose their preferred level of commitment. Each class meets once a week, and dancers participate in one recital weekend each year, leaving time for school, work and other activities.
Organizers say the annual themed recital provides a professional and welcoming experience for dancers and their families. Costumes are designed to be age-appropriate and affordable, while participants are encouraged to express their individuality.

Residents interested in the free Try-It classes can register at www.brooklynpark.org/dance.
