Congo Town, Liberia – A newly constructed substation of the Liberia National Fire Service has been officially dedicated in Congo Town, marking a significant milestone in strengthening emergency response services in the area.
The project was spearheaded by Hon. Prescilla Abram Cooper, who played a leading role in ensuring the successful completion of the modern facility. The dedication ceremony brought together local leaders, community members, and officials of the Liberia National Fire Service to celebrate the achievement.
Commissioner of Congo Town, Hon. Edward Horton Lahai, commended Hon. Prescilla Abram Cooper for her leadership and commitment to the safety and well-being of the people. He disclosed that the land for the construction of the substation was provided through collaborative efforts, noting that he worked closely with the lawmaker throughout the process.
Speaking at the ceremony, Commissioner Lahai described the new substation as one of the most beautiful and well-constructed fire service facilities in the country. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Congo Town, emphasizing that the station will play a crucial role in responding to fire disasters and protecting lives and properties.

The Commissioner praised Hon.
