Montserrado County District 10 representative Yekeh Kolubah is calling on residents of the District to reject number 18 on the presidential ballot paper comes October 10 2023 elections.
Representative Kolubah spoke to thousands of supporters in the district on September 5, when executives of the Rescue Mission and standard bearer of the unity party Joseph Boakai and running mate Jeremiah Koung paid a visit to the district. He said, that no resident of the district should remember the number 18 during this electioneering period adding that if the number 18 existed before, it doesn’t exist anymore until after elections.
“When you are counting, don’t ever mention the number 18. forget about it until elections are over in Liberia,” He told them.
He furthered that 18 is never a good number for the Liberian people during these election times stressing that it should be forgotten for the benefit of Liberians at large.
Yekeh Kolubah explains that though the ruling party Coalition For Democratic Change (CDC) is calling on Liberians to vote number 18 on the ballot paper, he is at the same time telling them not to vote or even remember the number 18 on the ballot comes October 10 as it is not in the interest of the country.
Hon Kolubah who is also seeking a reelection is calling on all Liberians to vote out the ruling party.
