Monrovia: Librarian educator and motivational speaker, Dr. Charles Gbollie has implored graduates of the Bethel Christian High School to focus on their career paths, if they are to become successful in life.
Dr. Gbollie who admonished students to work harder to make a significant difference in society, cautioned them not to make themselves less busy and available for negative things in the society rather place emphasis on things that will improve their lives.
The statement contained in a keynote address delivered by the youthful Liberian educator at the Bethel Christian High School’s 4th convocation exercises at the weekend in Caldwell, congratulated the graduates of staying firm in overcoming the challenges associated with the learning process in Liberia over the years.
“You stood with all the challenges of your life, but you kept on moving and here you are today walking out of the walls of high school.
Finishing high school is the most difficult task to complete in terms of education because it takes 15 years of life’s journey. So I just want to let you know that you are done with the difficult part of Education so you now stand a chance of becoming great.”, the Liberian educator remarked.
The chief executive officer of FREE Liberia at the same time encouraged the graduates attending the ceremony to remain on the path of preparedness academically because, according to him, chance would favor only prepared people when opportunities come.
“We want to encourage everyone here; beside the graduates, to prepare yourselves for time and chance so that opportunity will not pass you by”, he noted.
Dr. Gbollie at the same time used the occasion to employ parents to continue investing in their children’s education, while referring to them (children) as bank accounts they (parents) could withdraw from in the future.
