Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, is set to join her counterparts from around the world at the upcoming Women Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (WFMM), co-hosted by the governments of Jamaica and Canada.
The high-level meeting will take place on September 19-20, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.
This significant gathering of women foreign ministers aims to address the most pressing global challenges and strengthen the influence of women in global diplomacy.
Under the theme of advancing gender equality and empowering women through diplomacy, the meeting will offer a platform for collective dialogue and collaboration among female leaders in foreign policy.

In a communication dated September 5, 2024, the Embassy of Canada to Liberia, with residence in Côte d’Ivoire, shared the official agenda. Liberia’s participation in the WFMM underscores its growing role in global diplomacy and the country’s dedication to promoting gender parity in leadership roles.
