Former African Best Footballer George Weah has hailed Patrice Motsepe on his reelection victory.
“The confidence he received from regional football stakeholders is a testament to his exemplary leadership and commitment to advancing the game on the continent”, Weah said.
Motsepe he stressed has dedicated his time in office to raising the profile of African football, for such, he further commended the CAF Head.
” It is my hope that his re-election will afford young Africans interested in the game to fully utilize their potential”, he re-emphasized.
In his congratulatory message, the former global sports icon stated that he looks forward to CAF’s reelected President to continued improvements in football including its infrastructure in the region.
Motsepe due to his outstanding work done over the period took a new mantle of authority to run the affairs of football on the continent unchallenged.
Meanwhile, Liberia’s Football House President, Mustapha Raji was also reelected executive committee member of CAF.
