GRAND KRU SON HONORED ABROAD: WHEEDER BAGS MBA WITH DISTINCTION, DUAL SPECIALIZATION IN LOGISTICS & INT’L RELATIONS

MONROVIA – James Heah Gee Wheeder, a prominent son of Grand Kru County and the Southeastern region, has graduated with First Class Honors from Kalinga University, India, earning a Master of Business Administration with dual specializations in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and International Relations.

Wheeder’s academic performance earned him distinction as a top graduate. He also published four research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and received the International Best Research Award at the 2025 International Conference on Innovative Management Techniques for Sustainable Development (IMTSD-2025).

A long-serving youth advocate, Wheeder served as President of the Liberia National Students Union, Grand Kru County Chapter from 2009 to 2011, and as County Coordinator of the Federation of Liberian Youth, Grand Kru County from 2012 to 2015.

He represented Grand Kru County for two terms at the Mano River Union Youth Parliament – Liberia Chapter from 2017 to 2026.

He currently volunteers as Executive Director of the Federation of Southeastern Youth.

Wheeder is an alumnus of William V.S. Tubman University, where he was a founding executive of the Intellectual Militant of Tubman University, a group credited with helping establish the Students Unification Alliance.

He also served as Finance Secretary in the Aaron Nagba Collins-led Student Government and as Financial Secretary General of the 4th Graduating Class Leadership on May 31, 2017.

His academic and leadership journey is being hailed in Grand Kru and across the Southeast as a model for young Liberians pursuing higher education and public service.
