MONROVIA — Montserrado County District #13 Representative Edward Flomo will begin distribution of supplies valued at over $300,000, targeting religious institutions, vocational centers, and community groups across the district.

The first two of four containers arrived in the district over the weekend and were offloaded.

Flomo confirmed during an interview on Okay FM while noting that the remaining two containers are expected shortly.

Speaking with reporters, the lawmaker said, the supplies were procured during a recent trip to China and are intended to strengthen local churches, mosques, and skills-training initiatives for the people of District #13 Montserrado.

The shipment includes thousands of chairs for congregations, prayer mats for mosques, tiles, modern car-washing equipment, two Nissan Almera vehicles for auto-mechanic training, sewing machines, computers, and other materials.

“This is part of my commitment to empower residents and expand opportunities in District #13,” Flomo said ahead of the official opening of the containers.

He added that his office remains focused on supporting grassroots development and equipping institutions that serve the community.

District officials say the donations will be distributed to beneficiaries in phases once inventory and verification are complete.
