President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of the Republic of Rwanda on the occasion marking the re-election of President Paul Kagame.
In his message to Paul Kagame, President-elect of the Republic of Rwanda President Joseph Nyuma Baokai, Sr., on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, extended warmest congratulations to President-elect Kagame on his reelection as the President of the Republic of Rwanda.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai stressed that his reelection as President for a fourth term is a manifestation of the trust and confidence the people of Rwanda repose in President Kagame.
“As you once more assume this noble but huge responsibility in shaping the future of your great country, I entertain the hope that the cordial ties of friendship and cooperation subsisting between our two countries and peoples will be further strengthened in the spirit of African solidarity as we work together in furtherance of the principles of the African Union and the United Nations for the promotion of regional and international peace and security”, President Boakai noted.
President Boakai then wished for President-elect Kagame continual good health, as well as genuine progress and prosperity for the great people of Rwanda.
