United Bong County Association in the Americas (UBCAA) Announces Key Committee Appointments

Minnesota, August 28, 2025– The United Bong County Association in the Americas (UBCAA), under the leadership of National President Mr. Caimon Joe Gbamokollie, has announced the appointment of new volunteer leaders to its national committees. These appointments are aimed at strengthening the organization’s operational efficiency, advancing strategic goals, and fostering community engagement among members of the Bong County diaspora.

The appointments cover a wide range of committees, each tasked with specific priorities and responsibilities.

Key committee appointments include:

  1. National Programs and Planning Committee – Chair: Dr. Janneve Sankawulo Knuckles; Co-Chair: Rowina Kollie-Jackson
  2. Peace and Reconciliation Advisory Council – Chair: Dr. Murphy Anderson; VP UBCAA (Ex-Officio): Emmanuel Kolleh; Member: Bishop Mango Weni
  3. National Membership Committee – Chair: Moses Sumo Ketter; Co-Chair: Jestina Redd
  4. National Women’s Committee – Chair: Hanna Kolliegbo
  5. National Youth Committee – Chair: Sean Cole
  6. National Strategic Planning Committee – Lead Consultant: Leo Johnson; Consultant: Frank Traub
  7. Finance Committee – Financial Secretary: J. Emmanuel Ngwayah; Treasurer: Trobel Garsinii
  8. Bong Diaspora Business Investment Committee (BDBIC) – Chair: Michael Rennie; Members: Dr. Demenia Gbarbea, Daniel Brewer, Lady-Leelai M. Kpukuyou, and Liberia Designated Program Representatives

All UBCAA committees will report to the Chief of Operations, Mr. Leo Mulbah, ensuring effective operational oversight, coordination, and management.

National President Mr. Gbamokollie emphasized that these appointments reflect UBCAA’s commitment to volunteerism, transparency, and excellence in leadership. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed leaders will drive impactful programs, strengthen community ties, and promote the overall growth and development of the Bong County diaspora in the Americas.
