JACKSON FAMILY ISSUES STATEMENT ON TONI KHUMALO’S PASSING, URGES PUBLIC TO AVOID SPECULATION
Monrovia, Liberia – The Jackson Family has released a statement expressing their condolences to the family of the late Ntombikayise Innocentia Khumalo, also known as Toni Khumalo, and urging the public to avoid speculation and misinformation regarding her death.
In the statement, the family confirms that Mr. Samuel P. Jackson is cooperating fully with the Liberia National Police investigation and appeals for the public to allow the process to proceed without interference.
The family clarifies that there is no life insurance policy held by Toni Khumalo payable to Mr. Jackson and that the couple jointly owned business interests in Liberia, South Africa, and the United States.
The statement also provides context on Toni Khumalo’s health history, citing several medical episodes in 2023 and 2025, including a fall at the Royal Hotel in Monrovia and emergency landings in the US.
The family expresses concern over the spread of unverified claims on social media and urges the public to respect the dignity of the deceased and all affected families.
Mr. Samuel P. Jackson apologizes for any remarks made in the immediate aftermath of his wife’s passing and asks for understanding.
The family noted that they will continue to cooperate with authorities and provide updates when appropriate.
