Debee Moves Against Fallah: Grand Gedeh Rep. Jacob Debee Asks Plenary to Probe Deputy Speaker Fallah for Remarks on Speaker Koon

MONROVIA, Montserrado County – Grand Gedeh County Representative Jacob Debee has filed a formal communication to the House of Representatives plenary, requesting the retraction of public statements made by Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah concerning Speaker Richard Koon and urging the body to launch an investigation into the matter.

In the communication submitted during Tuesday’s session, Rep. Debee argued that Deputy Speaker Fallah’s remarks were inappropriate and could undermine the integrity of the House leadership.

He called on plenary to compel Fallah to retract the statements publicly and to institute a probe to determine whether House rules or ethical standards were violated.

The development signals growing tension within the House leadership, as disagreements over statements and conduct among presiding officers continue to surface in plenary.

The House is expected to deliberate on Debee’s request in subsequent sessions.
