It was a sad and painful scene on the Rehab , RIA Highway when vehicles believed to be in the Convey of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai instantly killed one person.
According to eye witnesses, the deceased was on board a tricycle when the tragic incident occurred.
“Three others are reportedly and seriously wounded” eye witness account added.
It is believed that the tricycle attempted entering the convey when the accident occurred but others narrated that the tricycle rider while trying to leave the main route after hearing the Convey approaching him loss control and bumped into the car as one of the victims was scene under the front right tire of the uniform car of the convey.
EPS officers and eyewitnesses immediately rushed in to help rescue some of the victims who were seen in excruciating pain but unfortunately just one did not make it.
The tragic situation brought tears and shocking emotions to eyewitnesses and passerby in the area.
