YARD- Liberia has hailed the government of Liberia for its commitment to youth empowerment especially by launching the Liberia Digital Transformation project, a visionary initiative set to impact 10,000 young minds across the nation.
According to the YARD-Liberia Project Director Dennis Kromah , The transformative endeavor will not only equip youths with essential digital skills but also open doors to new opportunities in the ever-evolving digital landscape; propelling Liberia towards sustainable development and inclusive growth.
“As we embrace the digital era, YARD-Liberia encourages all young people to harness the power of technology responsibly, creatively, and inclusively and Let us work together to bridge digital divides, foster innovation, and create a more equitable world for all”, he noted.
Dennis speaking at programs marking international youth day also urged Liberians especially the young people to stand united in their ollective pursuit of progress, leveraging digital pathways to shape a brighter, more sustainable future for generations to come.
He assured the body that with Togetherness, they can turn clicks into meaningful progress and build a world where every youth has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to a better tomorrow.
The international youth day celebration among other things focused on the power of youth in driving sustainable development through digital pathways.
Under the theme “From Clicks to Progress,” YARD- Liberia through its Project Director Dennis Kromah reminded the young people of the transformative potential that technology holds for them including the communities worldwide.
Moreover, YARD-Liberia, Mr. Kromah stated recognizes the invaluable contributions of youths in harnessing digital tools for positive change.
He said by leveraging technology and innovation, young people can amplify their voices, access educational resources, and foster economic empowerment; thus, paving the way for a brighter future.
