CSA DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL DARLINGTON SMITH RESIGNS AMID REPORTED FEUD WITH DIRECTOR GENERAL JOEKAI
Monrovia – Darlington Smith, Deputy Director General for Human Resource Management and Policy at the Civil Service Agency (CSA), has resigned from his post, according to reports citing a dispute with CSA Director General Josiah Joekai.
Smith, a seasoned public service administrator, submitted his resignation to the agency this week.
While an official reason for his departure has not been publicly disclosed, sources familiar with the matter point to ongoing internal disagreements between Smith and Joekai over administrative and policy issues.
The CSA has not released a formal statement on the resignation.
Attempts to reach Director General Joekai for comment were unsuccessful.
Smith has served in various capacities within the public sector and was appointed Deputy Director General to oversee human resource management and policy implementation across government ministries and agencies.
It remains unclear who will succeed Smith or how the vacancy will affect ongoing reforms at the CSA.
