High level officials of InfoQuest Liberia have paid a one day courtesy visit at the offices of the Swedish embassy Accredited near Monrovia.
The delegation was accorded a hospitable reception by Nikolina Stalhand, The current Program Officer for the Embassy of Sweden in Liberia.
Nikolina who handles project management at the Swedish embassy in a happy mood welcomed the top level officials of InfoQuest Liberia to the Swedish embassy near Monrovia.
Flanked by its Executive Director, via video call online , Mr. Matthias Yeanay thanked the Swedish embassy near Monrovia for the acquaintance meeting and also provided some history and updates of InfoQuest Liberia to the Swedish project manager.
He was also hasten to also appreciate the Swedish embassy and its government in general for its continuous support and empowerment to Liberia especially the people of Liberia including the Human Rights community at large.
His statement was buttressed by the members of the delegation who also provided some insights about the current works and activities of InfoQuest Liberia including progress and challenges thus far since the existence of the organization nearly two years running.
The delegation members also used the ocassion to appeal to the Swedish embassy near Monrovia to see the need to help support some of its ongoing and future programs that are align with their objectives.
In brief response, the Project Manager of the Swedish embassy accredited near Monrovia Nikolina Stalhand thanked the InfoQuest delegation for its acquaintance Meeting especially to the Swedish embassy.
She applauded InfoQuest Liberia for its work done in the past and current and expressed interest with assurance of working with InfoQuest Liberia in the near future.
At the same time, Madam Stalhand already impressed with some of the progress made by InfoQuest in the implementation of some of its signature projects as explained by the delegation members including its Executive Director Yeanay promise to form a part or be in attendance of future programs of InfoQuest if provided official invitation.
Currently, plans are in the making by InfoQuest Liberia for the launch of an online platform design by the professional research group to among other other things capture and track the performance of Lawmakers specifically members of the House of Representatives under its gender sensitive legislative monitoring project.
Meanwhile, InfoQuest Liberia is a research base group involved in quality researches intended to help government makes informed decisions on national issues.
The Civil Society group also provides advocacy for the people of Liberia in key areas to include; Good governance, democracy and rule of law, health, Sanitation, education, gender and women empowerment / equlity, policy making among others.
