Monrovia, Liberia — Political Advisor to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Madam MacDella Cooper, has publicly confirmed long-standing rumors regarding her relationship with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Richard Nagbe Koon.
In a brief but direct statement, Cooper broke her silence on the matter, declaring, “I am the spouse of the Speaker.”
Her confirmation comes amid weeks of public speculation and social media discussions about her relationship with Speaker Koon. Until now, neither party had officially addressed the reports.
Madam Cooper is a well-known political figure and philanthropist, currently serving as Political Advisor to President Boakai. Speaker Koon, a senior member of the ruling establishment, was recently elected to lead the House of Representatives.

Both Madam Cooper and Speaker Koon who are currently on a tour of the Southeastern part of Liberia, were seen in matching dress outfits on today.
