Liberia’s participation in the Forum on Africa China Cooperation is said to be making major impact with good news for the people of Liberia.
The latest came following the signing of a 100 million dollar project in China.
The focus of the agreement is the improvement of Roads, Financing and Infrastructure Development in Liberia among others.
The signing was reached in Beijing, China on the margins of the Forum On Africa China Cooperation.
Speaking following the signing, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai thanked China for its continuous support to Liberia.
According to him, the latest move is a major milestone for his government and its people with less than a year under his regime.
He reassured the gathering that his government remains committed to improving the lives of its people.
Liberia he stated has potential and he wants such potential to be enhanced for the benefit of his people.
” I am happy for this signing and they have earned our trust and confidence as the ball is now in our court to deliver “, he added.
The Liberian leader indicated further that the agreement also signifies a new day in Liberia.
“To our investors and potential ones, your investment will be a blessing and a beginning of a great partnership”, he assured them.
Providing update to the gathering during the signing ceremony, he disclosed that he had a fruitful meeting with his counterpart, President Xi Jinping of China and he look forward to a stronger relationship that will be mutually beneficial.
