President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has recommitted his government promise to the development of the Country contrary to heavy criticism from the public.
Speaking when he officially dedicated the Presidential sanitary project in Bomi County, the Liberian leader stated that the Liberian people deserves the best and his government will endeavor to bring development to them.
He called on Liberians to challenged themselves to join forces together to help build Liberia adding that no one can come and do it unless Liberians themselves.
” We have no reason to be poor especially when we have everything, all we need to do is to be determined and work to make the difference “, he re-emphasized.
After 177 years, President Boakai stressed that it is unexceptable to see Liberians live such a life as such, it is time to move on to help the people of Liberia.
Speaking further about the presidential project, he stated that water is life as such, he will ensure that said water project will be done in other communities soon.
According to him, rural dwellers especially can’t help themselves as such they as duty bearers need to help the people by bringing forth new ideas to make it work for them.
“Bomi and other Counties in Liberia are backwards but my government will work to change it for the better”, he added.
Meanwhile, beneficieries especially residents of Gbalasuah in Bomi County and surrounding communities hailed President Boakai for such a long awaited and meaningful project which they noted will go a long way for them including reducing some of their many challenges over the period.
