In a hospitable faction, The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mohammed Sabbari, welcomed House Speaker Richard Nagbe Koon and the Liberian Legislative Delegation in Rabat for the Second Forum of Chairpersons of Foreign Affairs Committees of African Parliaments.
The forum which kick off today February 2, 2025, is being held under the theme: “Building Sustainable Foundations for Stability and Security in Africa.”
Among other things, the forum serves as a platform for African parliamentary leaders to deliberate on critical security and stability issues affecting the continent while fostering collaboration and diplomatic engagement among African nations.
The Liberian delegation led by Richard Nagbe Koon, Speaker of the 55th Legislature of Liberia also include; Nehker E. Gaye as Chairman, Foreign Affairs Committee, Manah Bishop Johnson, Chairman, National Defense Committee, Gizzie K. Kollance, Chairman, National Security Committee and Nyan G. Flomo, Chairman, House Committee on Education respectively.
Meanwhile, the forum is expected to end on February 21, 2025.
