SUP Chairman Odacious Mulbah Reschedules ‘March for Jobs and Justice’ Protest for July 26, 2026, Vows Sustained Advocacy for Employment and Social Equity Across Liberia
MONROVIA, Liberia — The Chairman of the Student Unification Party(SUP), Odacious Mulbah, has announced a new date for the organization’s planned “March for Jobs and Justice” protest, confirming that the demonstration will now take place on July 26, 2026.
Mulbah disclosed the rescheduled date in a statement posted to his official Facebook page, stating that the protest will proceed as planned and reiterating SUP’s commitment to pressing for expanded employment opportunities and broader social justice reforms across Liberia.
The new date coincides with Liberia’s Independence Day, a national holiday that historically draws heightened public and political attention.
He did not provide details on the planned route, expected turnout, or whether the organization has secured permits for the July 26 demonstration.
SUP, a political and advocacy movement, has in recent months intensified calls for government action on youth unemployment, labor conditions, and economic equity.
The group has characterized the upcoming march as a peaceful civic action intended to elevate public demands for policy responses to job scarcity and systemic inequality.
