MONROVIA — Hotel Canaba Chief Executive Officer Christian Weah Sr. has thrown his full support behind incumbent Liberia Football Association President Mustapha I. Raji ahead of the upcoming LFA elections, while firmly rejecting speculation that Cassell Kouh will enter the race.

“He will not contest today, he will not contest tomorrow, and he will never contest in this election,” Weah told KM TV, addressing supporters as he campaigns for a seat on the LFA Executive Committee.

Weah described Raji as “the best candidate to continue leading the LFA,” citing what he called significant contributions to football development across Liberia.

He pointed to Raji’s record in advancing women’s football, youth sports programs, and other sporting initiatives at both local and international levels.

Appealing to members of the LFA electorate, Weah pledged that a Raji-led administration, alongside his own prospective role on the Executive Committee, would deliver “transparency and accountability.”

He rated the current administration’s performance at 95 percent and expressed confidence that a renewed mandate would bring “greater progress” for Liberian football.

The LFA elections are expected to draw intense interest from clubs, stakeholders, and the broader sporting community as candidates outline their visions for the next term.
