Liberia National Police Introduces Streamlined Online Clearance Process with Revised Fee Structure

Monrovia, Liberia- The Liberia National Police (LNP), in collaboration with the Liberia Revenue Authority, has announced the implementation of a new online system for Police Clearance, effective May 1, 2026.

As a result, new service fees will be charged for various services.

The approved fees are as follows:

Job Clearance

Liberians: Regular (US$10.00), Express (US$20.00)

ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$50.00), Express (US$100.00)

Non-ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$150.00), Express (US$300.00)

Travel Clearance

Liberians: Regular (US$20.00), Express (US$40.00)

ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$50.00), Express (US$100.00)

Non-ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$100.00), Express (US$200.00)

Name Check

Liberians: Regular (US$10.00), Express (US$20.00)

ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$50.00), Express (US$100.00)

Non-ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$100.00), Express (US$200.00)

Missing Passport

Liberians: Regular (US$10.00), Express (US$20.00)

ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$40.00), Express (US$80.00)

Non-ECOWAS Citizens: Regular (US$100.00), Express (US$200.00)

According to an official LNP Release, services will be available on the LNP website under the Police Clearance section while Payments can be made in USD or its Liberian Dollars equivalent.

They urged the public to take note of these changes and ensure compliance when accessing these services.
